Droop Control of Inverter Interfaced Distributed Generation

In recent times, interest in renewable energy-based Distributed Generation (DG) is increasing rapidly. These sources are connected to AC bus through inverter interface. During islanded mode, output voltage and frequency of should be properly regulated for stable operation it done by applying control action on inverter. The paper presents a strategy controlling output. It deals with active power-frequency reactive power-voltage (P-f/Q-V) droop regulation. Droop can implemented communication-less inverter-based DG units. adjusts individual generating unit according the power flow. P-f uses real power(P) decide operating Q-V power(Q) voltage. simulation conducted MATLAB/Simulink results analyzed. Results show that an effective technique inverters interfaced distributed generation sources.
